You always get it. At most it takes like two sentences to explain, ever,
and even while I'm explaining anything, you still get it at least halfway
just 'cause you get me.
[And she was having one of those moments where she found it extra
spectacular and felt extra lucky for it,and she had to just squeeze him
tightly for a minute. Probably the nuzzling contributed, but she couldn't
explain why other than that. It came in waves.]
[His agreement came with a sigh of contentment and his body just melting into hers. They were already close but there was something about her words and actions that just took things to another level.]
[If every morning after an "argument" went like this - Arya
simultaneously felt even luckier and glad her face was tucked away against
him. She had thought it was going to take another night's sleep to feel
better, but then they'd wandered back into soft, sappy territory and for a
bit, she had forgotten about it entirely. And who knew if it would've went
like this if he hadn't come over in the middle of the night? It choked her
up a little, in a good way, thinking about him deciding to come over,
knowing he was still welcome, putting his arms around her.]
Always. Always, always. I love you too. And I'm so glad I love you. So
fucking glad I fell for you.
[There was something about hearing her say how glad she was that she
fell for him and loved him that made Peter choke up a bit. He wasn't even
sure if he knew what it was other than maybe they seemed like an
unconventional couple to others or just acknowledging the fact that they
had something very special and they were lucky for it. Whatever the reason
Peter just really liked it.]
Me too. You're my Arya and I'm never letting you go.
[She couldn't explain why any better than he could, although she had
known saying that was different and would hit different, somehow, then the
usual exchange of 'I love you' did. It didn't really matter why, though, in
her opinion, they didn't need to be able to put that into words or explain
it, it just mattered that they were on the same page about it, and the way
he reacted Arya knew they were so she could just squeeze him again.]
[Although to be honest it was totally Arya who had done the work initially but that was okay. After that it had been a long, weird road of letting their emotions catch up with their physical reactions to each other until it was impossible to tell who had whom. That was just how Peter liked it though.]
I have literally - literally - never been happier or more content to be
stuck.
[Arya had never even imagined she could be happy to be stuck. It had
snuck up on her, much like so many of the feelings he had caused in
her.
She wouldn't agree that it was her who had done the work,
originally. That was just one of the nice things they could happily never
agree on - at the core of it, it didn't matter who had drawn more of the
map of that long, weird road, because they were a team.]
[Peter was pretty sure part of that was because it would have been
impossible to imagine just how freeing being with someone could be. It was
a weird juxtaposition but thoughts and feelings were weird like that.]
I'm going to get you a shirt with some saying about how you're caught in my
web.
I mean a sticker is pretty lazy. Plus you can take it off. I could have had
it printed all over a shirt and added 'but only for Arya Stark' on there
somewhere. And it's not like sneaking in or out of your room by then was
any type of challenge.
I know the sticker would come off, I just - I guess I hadn't thought of how
you were keeping the sticker on. I have a whole pack of those stickers, you
can wash it.
[Arya was touched by that, though - as well as shaking her head a
bit at herself for never thinking to tell Peter she had more of the
stickers.]
Not necessarily. I could have it printed very small or under the stitches
or in a very dark color on a very dark shirt.
no subject
Yeah I'm full of surprises like that.
[Peter was pretty sure that she felt the same way about him, he knew how much she liked making him happy.]
So sometimes it's very selfish and sometimes it's selfless.
no subject
You're full of something, that's for sure.
[She did feel the same about him, but she hadn't really known she had that in herself until she met him either, so the statement stood.]
I know what you mean. For me sometimes it's both, too, which doesn't sound like it should be possible.
no subject
No, I get it, sometimes it's both for me too.
[Peter smiled and nuzzled at her neck.]
Plus you know I really like when you're selfish.
no subject

I doknow that. I very much know that.
no subject
Always get you. Love you so much.
[His agreement came with a sigh of contentment and his body just melting into hers. They were already close but there was something about her words and actions that just took things to another level.]
Because you always get me too.

You had better not.

[Arya would agree with that. Right now, though, she was just designing that shirt in her head, grinning.]
Go for it. I'll wear it all the time.
no subject
Okay. It has to be really good then. I'll have to make sure it's just right.
[Peter was also designing the shirt in his mind. Maybe several shirts?]
no subject
Oh, right, cause before I said that you were totally going to half ass it. Good thing I mentioned it.
[The teasing is automatic, but it does make her think.]
Actually now I think I half assed the boyfriend material shirts.
no subject
Wait why do you say that|?
[Because Peter didn't really see it that way and was curious why she might.]
no subject
I mean a sticker is pretty lazy. Plus you can take it off. I could have had it printed all over a shirt and added 'but only for Arya Stark' on there somewhere. And it's not like sneaking in or out of your room by then was any type of challenge.
no subject
Well you can always redo it if you really want to.
[Because he would gladly take a more permanent shirt like she was describing.]
Plus I can't really wash that shirt or it would ruin the sticker.
no subject
Wait, have you not washed that shirt since I put the sticker on it?
[She should have noticed that. It was mostly an idle thought before, but now she's decided, she will make a new version of the shirt.]
I'm going to make a few and put Arya Stark in a different place on each and if you find them all, you'll get a prize.
no subject
Yeah if I wash it the sticker comes off. That's why I only wear it every once in a while and not for the whole day. Or during the summer.
[Really he should just frame it like a jersey or something. They framed sports jerseys, right?]
Wouldn't it be easy to find your name?
no subject
I know the sticker would come off, I just - I guess I hadn't thought of how you were keeping the sticker on. I have a whole pack of those stickers, you can wash it.

Not necessarily. I could have it printed very small or under the stitches or in a very dark color on a very dark shirt.
no subject
Yeah I probably should have asked about that now that I think about it.
[He had just been so excited to get it and proud of it that he hadn't really thought that part out.]
I still feel like I'd be able to find them pretty easily but I want to see where you hide them.
no subject
I probably should've remembered to tell you that, now that I think about it.
[She was just so used to him knowing what she was thinking, she forgot he couldn't actually read her mind, she supposed.]
Are you really doubting I can make it a challenge? Okay.
no subject
I'm not! I'm sure you can! I'm just saying I can't think of how you could do it. Wait..
[Peter paused and thought about that for a moment.]
Yeah, okay, I can think of some ways.
no subject
[She just had to shake her head at him, in response to that.]
Well, stop thinking of ways now, cause I'm more likely to win if I can think of ways to hide it and you can't.
no subject
Oh so you want to win because I don't even try then?
[Peter knew that was absolutely not how she wanted to win but he couldn't help but give her a hard time about it.]
