Celery is better in like none of the ways. Celery is
the vegetable most likely to lead you to malnutrition because of its low
nutritional value AND too much of it increases your risk of getting skin
cancer.
Using excess of a food being bad for you is a poor argument because water is bad for you if you have an excess of it and not good if that’s all you consume
It's well established that too much water can be bad
for you. It's not similarly well known that celery doesn't provide that
much nutritional value or benefits and could be bad for you.
I wasn't judging celery in a vacuum - there are quite a few vegetables, including carrots, that are still good eaten alone. Baby carrots come on a vegetable party tray, celery does not. I don't think it helps your argument as much as you think it does to point out that you need to combine celery with other things to make it palatable.
I do not agree that celery can be combined with more things - In fact, I think celery lessens the appeal of ranch dip or peanut butter.
Not a good party tray - they're stringy and they both
smell and taste weird. Celery is not good eaten alone and carrots are
definitely in more dishes than celery.
No, I think carrots don't inherently need dip to try
and be palatable.

That doesn't make your point less valid

You're right. That makes my point even more valid.

Otherwise all individual foods would fail because none of them are complete on their own
Celery is far superior because as a part of a diet it can be combined with more things
You can eat it with ranch dip OR peanut butter
Carrots cannot boast the same

Celery 100% comes on a vegetable party tray! And celery is good eaten alone but it has a wider diversity of things it can be eaten with
But you think carrots enhance dip?

Most of that is not empirical evidence at all
That's just like
Your opinion, man

And your point about celery being good with peanut butter or ranch wasn't your opinion?
which of your points have been empirical evidence, remind me

We'll continue in a minute but do you feel better now that you're having an argument?

yes
