IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
2021-08-10 12:15Arya went through about 50 different plans for Peter's birthday. She filled almost an entire notebook with thoughts and ideas, stashed away in various hiding spots and pulled out regularly when he wasn't home for months before the day in question.
How to start the day got decided pretty quickly - and only changed once - and how to end the day was similarly easy, deciding what happened in between, however, that proved tricky. She had come up with too many options, and she ended up having to practically form a committee to narrow things down. Arya's quite proud of the final selections, though. Event planning has never really been her thing, nor does she want it to be, and she did put Sansa in charge of planning the actual birthday party portion of the day, but she was pretty sure she had planned a winning day.
Although it might be a bit backwards that the day starts with her so excited she might climb out of her skin before Peter wakes up. She's awake well before he is, got up and showered as quickly as she could so she didn't miss him waking up, and then settled back on the bed and watched him.
She pounced (still probably prematurely) when he started shifting around and his face started losing that deep sleep relaxed appearance, unable to keep herself from being startling, kissing all over his face and crowing "Happy fucking birthday!"
She's almost certainly overenthusiastic, but she's already had a coffee while she was waiting, and even if she hadn't, her chill will be impossible to find today.
